AUTO Lesson prices

I am based in, & have lived in the Ipswich Driving Test Area for over 15 years. My prices are based on my travelling distance to where you start and finish your lesson/test. 

The prices listed on this page apply to students who do lessons inside my service area, roughly within a 10 to 15 minute drive of the North Ipswich Dept of Transport Office (please see my Service Area Map).

If you don't live inside this area, but would like lessons in Ipswich, I can pick you up from the:

- Ipswich Train & Bus Station on Bell St, 

- North Ipswich Dept of Transport Office, or 

- Riverlink Shopping Centre so mum or dad can have a relaxing cuppa or do some shopping. 

PARENTS or your Driving Supervisor are welcome to attend your lesson so they can help you practice what you learn in the lesson. 

If you live outside of this area, and I need to come to you, please ask for a quote. 

Inclusions: 

Prices include prearranged pick up and drop off at an agreed location, such as home, school, work etc. within my service area.

PLEASE NOTE: 

- Dept. TRANSPORT Accredited Driving Instructor Logbook bonus: 

When part of your 1st 10 hours of professional daytime lessons: 

1 hour lesson = 3 logbook hours

1.5 hour lesson = 4.5 logbook hours 

2 hour lesson = 6 logbook hours 

-Pre Paid- BULK BUY BARGAINS 

Can be taken in 1, 1.5 or 2 hour LESSON BLOCKS. 

BULK BUY BARGAIN Packages can be shared amongst students. 

REFUNDS: If something happens and you are unable to finish the package, a refund can be requested where used lessons will be charged at the standard lesson rate at the time of the request and deducted from the amount paid to calculate the refund.  Payments will only be made into the bank account of the person who made the original purchase. 

- PAYMENTS 

To be made in full at or before your lesson starts, or for BULK BARGAIN BUYS, at the start of or before your first lesson. 

I accept CASH at the start of the lesson, or a prepaid the day before PayID or BANK DEPOSIT to allow time for the money to be cleared. 

Lessons that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may require payment. 

- All Pre-Paid lessons are Valid for 36 months from date of purchase.

5 Hours of lessons 

Specifically designed for Beginners or Nervous Students. 

Build up your knowledge and skills, step by step at your own pace, learning the safest driving practices to increase your confidence and abilities.

1 hour lesson

Learn how to navigate the roads safely at night with the guidance of an experienced Driving Instructor. 

The Dept. of Transport requires learners to have 10 hours night-time experience in their logbook because this is one of the most dangerous times to drive.

Please speak with your Instructor directly to arrange Night-time lessons, as available times will vary. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

- Night-time lessons can only be logged hour for hour. It is not possible to get 3 hours in your logbook for a 1 hour night-time lesson. 

1 Night-time hour lesson = 1 logbook hour

Do you know your car’s FLOWER checks? 

Monitoring your vehicle’s maintenance and doing Basic Safety Checks is an important contribution to your safety on the road. This lesson covers all regular safety checks under the bonnet and vehicle exterior, between services.

These lessons are designed to assist International Licence holders with Queensland Learner Licences  to transition to a Queensland Driver’s Licence.

Want to know how you'll go in a Practical Driving Test? 

Then this is the lesson for you! It is designed to help you identify the safe driving skills you need to develop before you book your Practical Driving Test. 

Our Mock Test is based on the criteria of the Qld Dept. of Transport Practical Driving Test. During this lesson we’ll give you feedback on your mistakes, and tuition on how to correct them to become a safer driver. Getting this help early on will allow you time to practice and work on rectifying your errors and prepare for the real deal.

PLEASE NOTE: 

- Must have a minimum of 80 hours in your logbook to do this

- Depending on how many errors are identified, it may not be possible to cover working on them all in the allocated time frame.
